Gratitude in November or Daily
Yes this is November and Thanksgiving has passed. Most people were probably Thankful on Thanksgiving. Is one still thankful a few days after? That’s the real question. Gratitude is one of the most important emotions that can change your vibration. It can put things into perspective.
Driving past a hospital will for the most part not cause one to give it a second thought. But there are people in there that are fighting for their lives. There is also the family that is worried about them. Old people, young people, babies, mothers, fathers, children are there hoping to get well.
Many people driving by the hospital on their way to work or running errands. They could feel stressed, exhausted, anger, frustration, worry, fear and unhappy. The people that are in the hospital would give anything to just be able to go to work. Or they would love to pick up their kids from soccer practice. But instead they are going through testing, treatments, medication and most likely fear about the future.
Be thankful for all of the things you are able to do. Of course we would all love to be on the beach with some super hot and sexy playmate drinking margaritas soaking up the sun. Is that possible? Of course it’s possible for many people if you plan it and take the trip. But there is ALWAYS going to be responsibilities and things that just have to be done.
So take a moment and be glad for your responsibilities. Appreciate all of the things you are able to do. Repeated practice of this will improve your outlook on life.
Another thing to do is to start a gratitude journal. It really does help. Can’t think about what to be grateful for? How about you can breathe? You can walk, talk, work, cook, shop, go to the bathroom unassisted. Your kidneys are working. Your body is healthy. Appreciate the things you have and more things will come to you naturally.
Give it a try. What have you got to lose except being unappreciative.
