Recently I had the opportunity to attend the Sacramento Area Sustainable Business Awards Expo at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA. It was such a cool event. Best part was it was free. As we arrived, we were able to check out some really cool cars. Tesla’s, Nissan Leaf, Honda Fuel Cell and more.
Valerie, a Health Coach and Johnny, a Videographer checking out the Tesla’s.
Once we arrived inside the beautiful Golden 1 center, there was a free contentinenal breakfast which was really good. It was all locally grown and zero waste as well. Major score!!
Congresswoman Doris Matsui was there and she gave a little speech about how awesome Sacramento is and their sustainable way of life. Also Aran Rush, Vice President of Arena Operations for the Sacramento Kings discussed how smart the Golden1 Center actually is. It has solar panels and also gets its energy from a solar farm.
