Synchronicity Via Bach

She rushed to visit her cousin when she learned about the accident. She knew her cousin would be ok so she decided to take her portable keyboard to the hospital to visit. She showed him the keyboard and right away he started playing a melody that sounded familiar. He said, “Let me play this one I remember.” His fingers were much to big for the childish keyboard. but the piece was by composer Johann Sebastian Bach and it was Prelude in C Major. Then it dawned on her that was the exact piece she had been working on with her music teacher.

What were the odds that he would pick the same piece of music? It wasn’t until later that she realized that this was some kind of synchronicity. Or it could have been pure coincidence. But deep in her heart she knew it was not coincidence it was a sign to show how strong their bond is. It doesn’t matter if you have not seen family for months or years, the bond is still there and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

It was a sign to continue to study. It was a sign to realize that it doesn’t matter if you don’t see each other frequently the bond is still there. It was a reminder of how much she loved him. It was a sign of hope. It was a reminder to keep practicing. It was a beautiful moment she would cherish always.

How a Tea Set from 1955 Made It Back Home in 2019

Made Its Way Home After 64 years

What’s So Special About This Tea Set?

This is a short story about my Uncle, Gilbert. In 1955 he joined the Air Force and traveled to Guam. While he was there he purchased two identical tea sets and sent one to his Mother, Catalina and the other to his sister in law, Eleanor, which happens to be my mom.

What’s The Significance of The Tea Set?

Well you see my Uncle Gilbert passed away some years ago and imagine the surprise of my cousin when she received this tea set in the mail. This tea set had been well cared for since my mom received it. She always had it on display in a special spot that for some reason she knew where it was but I don’t remember it at all. My mom took it with her everywhere she moved since 1955. The tea set went from California to Pennsylvania to Arkansas to San Jose, CA then back to Stockton. It had moved several times in Stockton.

My mom really loved that tea set or she would not have taken it with her so many times.

A Car Crash Is the Catalyst To Finding Tea Set

In February 2019, a car ran into my mom’s home and the kitchen needed to be repaired. Everything from the kitchen had to be removed. Down came the tea set. It was placed in a storage pod. Then finally in December 2019 as my mom was putting her kitchen back together she decided to give me the tea set so I could send it to my cousin, Julie, my Uncle Gilbert’s eldest daughter.

Finally The Tea Set Makes It Home

After receiving the tea set from my mother, I knew I wanted to send it to my cousin as soon as possible. I just wanted it back home safe. I felt so happy to send it to my cousin. I didn’t open the box to look inside because I wanted to be surprised to see it. (I still don’t remember ever seeing this tea set in my house growing up. But whatever.) I finally saw the pictures on Facebook when my cousin posted pictures and it was so beautiful. It really made me happy that his daughter received something that her father sent half way round the world to end up back home safe and sound 64 years later.

Liberation From The Kitchen

How would you feel with some extra free time?  It’s easier than you think.

Let’s look at the current situation.  Many men and women work full time jobs.  After they get off work, they have to get home and figure out dinner for themselves and maybe their families.  Not sure about how many people feel about cooking dinner after working at least 8 hours, but it can be exhausting and that’s not exactly the first thing you feel like doing.

So how do you deal with this feeling of not wanting to cook?  Many people decide not to cook and instead go to their favorite take out or restaurant and buy dinner.  Not only is this pricey but most of the packaging comes in plastic.  Hopefully you grab something healthy for your body.  But if not then you bought something bad for one’s body and is bad for the planet as well.

How about thinking about a new solution?  I know this is not a new idea but actually a very old idea.  So maybe you have a good friend that is in the same situation as you.  So before you cook dinner you give them a quick call and say, “Hey friend, I’m making some mushroom soup and salad.  I cannot eat it all.  Would you like to stop by on your way home from work and pick some up on your way home?  Bring your own container and we’ll save the planet.”  Your friend is not only grateful but she replies, “Thanks so much!! I made some almond meal cookies and I’ll bring you some.”

The next night the cookie making friend calls her making friend and says, ” I made some quinoa with pesto sauce would you like me to bring some over?”  And they were both fed happy and they had the strength to carry on another day.

So if everyone started to do this, it would just create a world where people are sharing, caring and being fed.  It would be really great for the planet, families wallets and it would allow people to share some time together instead of being in the kitchen.

You can also try new and different food and if you like to cook, then someone to tell you how awesome your food is.  Also there’s nothing wrong with just giving food to someone with no expectation in return.  As you give, so shall you receive.  This is how we will transform our planet.  One small gesture of sharing at a time.  Let’s start the cycle of giving and receiving.

Talking about Subliminal Vision Boards

subliminal vision boards

I recently had the opportunity to have a conversation with the co- creator of Subliminal Vision Boards.  I wasn’t too sure exactly what those were.  I met the Co-Creator of Subliminal Vision Boards, Jennifer Casolary where other like minded people come together, Facebook.

The typical vision boards involve getting poster board, magazines and cutting out pictures and gluing the pictures onto the poster board.  The pictures are supposed to help you manifest your goals.old fashioned vision board

                                              Old School Vision Board

Jennifer explained to me that she was living a mediocre life with her fiancé outside of Las Vegas and she decided to create a vision board. Her experience of creating a traditional vision boards involved the purchase of  poster board and a trip to Barnes and Noble to buy some magazines.  To her disappointment she left Barnes and Noble disappointed because she couldn’t find any magazines with images that she wanted on her vision board.

Jennifer’s father had passed away two days before her birthday.  He had a Mantra which was to Live Fully, Live and Enjoy Life.  She didn’t feel as though she was living fully  enjoying her life.

One day she was scrolling through Facebook and her friend had done a Vision board and the idea came to her to do a Subliminal Vision Board App.  She began to work on her vision and it took 3 years to develop the Android version of the App and another year for the IOS version.  The Subliminal Vision Board takes Vision Boards to a whole other level. It utilizes google Images and is Multi Sensory.  You have the portability of your phone so you can take it with you where ever you go.  It also has the ability to be used on multiple devises.

subliminal dreams   Example of a Subliminal Vision Board.  The possibilities are endless.

Prior to writing this article I was not familiar with the Subliminal Vision Board App but I did Download it to my phone.  I watched the tutorial video which was easy to understand and I made my First Subliminal Vision Board in no time.  You can make as many vision boards as you want and you can also add music, sound frequencies.  I found it to be very amazing.  There is a Take 5 feature, where each image and text that is placed on the vision board is flashed at a speed that your Subconscious Mind picks up. This allows you to reprogram the negative deep seeded limiting beliefs into positive empowering ones instead. The app also has a Notification Set Up feature where you set up a time every day to dedicate 5 minutes to focus on what is desired. This feature keeps you accountable to your goals and keeps them in the fore front. Also you can record your own voice and there are ancient powerful Solfeggio Frequencies that can heal your mind and your body.  The  other thing I thought was amazing is that .25cents of each purchase of the Subliminal Vision Board app goes to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

My first Vision Board involved relaxation and winding down.  I need to relax in the evening so I can make sure to shut it down.  I have the tendency to keep going and going and going.  Well needless to say I did sleep very well that first night after watching it.  You can watch it for 5 minutes or longer if you choose.

I asked Jennifer how her life had changed since developing this amazing App.  She said she now lives in North Carolina close to her family and is getting ready to move to the beach (which is a dream come true) and quit her job so she can focus 100% of her time on the App.  She also met Tony Robbins and was able to give him her business card at one of his amazing conferences.  She also feels that she is living a full life that would make her father proud.

Jennifer  This is Jennifer.

Jennifer recommends when you first make your vision board a good place to start is to ask yourself what do you want to heal and what do you want to manifest.

5 star

All in all I give this a 5 Star rating as the cost is only $4.99, it has so many benefits and a donation to St. Jude’s Hospital.  I want to thank Jennifer for being such a visionary and for helping so many people live fulfilling lives.  Do me a favor and let me know how you like the App.  You can check it out here:  Subliminal vision Boards.

How I Became a Singer

Music has a way of being influential.  As a young child music was always being played growing up.  Having a music teacher, John DeDios Barron, for a father has many pros and cons.  An alleged pro is being exposed to many different formats.  The con is hearing the same song over and over and over.  Many times the music would be classical or jazz.  Mexican music was played regularly as well since he was a Mariachi as well.  My father could play the trumpet and piano very well.  However later in life he took up violin and that was just painful.  Wow!!  Also the volume of music could be very loud.

A regular scenario was trying to watch Gilligan’s Island to all of a sudden hearing, Brick House hella loud.  And forget about thinking you’re going to get your way and watch the rest of the show. TV time was just over.  That was a definite Con.

music therapy

Piano was offered as my father was a music teacher.  However I wasn’t feeling the whole piano thing with my dad so I rejected the concept and instead focused on dance.  I didn’t think I had the music gene until recently it has been awakened.

My daughter was taking voice lessons and she was being much towards me as I was towards my dad which was rejecting the voice lessons provided for her.  She was rejecting voice lessons and when she was  done, she was done.  So having already paid for the lessons, I decided that I would take the voice lessons in her place.  That was in 2014.

At first I was pretty terrible.  I had to learn so much and anyway I just kept going to class.  One thing I noticed was that the singing made me feel very happy.  It became music therapy for me.  So I kept taking the classes but then took a break in 2015.  I took it up again last March 2017 and decided to work towards my goal which was to sing at my retirement party.  Which I did.

Singing is very physical.  One thing I struggle with is singing and looking relaxed  You know like it’ the easiest thing to do.  Effortlessness.

Your body becomes your instrument and I have to keep it really strong if I want to continue to sing.  But it is very therapeutic to sing.  I would recommend it to anyone.  It did not come natural for me but it absolutely comes natural for my daughter.  Now if I can only figure out how to get her singing again.

In any case I am going to stick with it for now as it is a positive outlet and lord knows we all need that.soy milk(This is here just to see if anyone sees this.  I thought this was so funny!!!  Never thought about Soy Milk being in Spanish.  lol
